How to: Chain Stitch (Ch)

Are you ready to start crocheting? A lot of Patterns start with a Ch, I promise it's easy!

Step 1: Take your Yarn and create a slipknot. (If you are unsure how to do this please click to read my "How to: Tie a Slipknot" blog post.

Step 2: Create tension on the longer yarn end.

Step 3: Yarn over your hook.

Step 4: Tilt the hook towards you and pull through the loop

Congratulations! You just Chained 1!

* It is important to remember that your slipknot does Not count as a chain. *
